Ptah-Sokar
The old god Ptah-Sokar was a combination of Ptah from Memphis and his local colleague the falcon god Sokar.
With time a triad named Ptah-Sokar-Osiris was composed. Figurines of them were put in the tombs looking like a mummy-shaped man with the sun disk, twist- ed ram-horns and plum- es or the atef-crown.
These statues often in- scribed by spells from The Book of the Dead.
Ptah-Sokar was mostly seen as a man with the plumed crown (pictures) and carrying the ankh-sign and sometimes the big staff with the dejd-pillars in the fashoin of the on carried by Ptah.
