Kings from dynasty 0 |
Sereks from anonymous rulers just before dynasty I. It may have meant "royal property", but with time they were altered with the kings' "names" (logo) inside. The hieroglypic sound values are unknown. Early kings had many ways of spelling their names and the falcon was their icon especially in Upper Egypt during this period. Some had just vertical lines of various numbers with a mark atop. The first two sereks in the bottom row might be read as a King Hedju and the last Nineit.
