This magnificent big stone stele was found outside Djet's tomb at Abydos. Only the top (shown in picture) has survived and the rest may have been without any in-scription. It once stood a good two metres in height and
was probably one of a pair erected at the offering place outside his tomb.
The details in the palace facade gives a good look into the archi-tectural details from his residen-ce with seems to have been ad-orned with fancy brick-work.
This masterpiece in Egyptian art is today kept and exposed in the Louvre Museum in Paris.
