This impressive stela was found just outside Peribsen's tomb at the royal cemetery in Abydos.
Note that the standing Set-animal on top of the serek has been cut away. This must have been done in later times and shows that the cult of his, and probably others, was going on at the cemetery long after the taking over by the Horus supporters.
Peribsen's name does not occur in the list of kings at the 19 dynasty temple at Abydos, and he is also omitted in the royal canons from Sakkara and the Turin Papyrus.
