The name of King Sened
Dynasty 2 (~ 2.500 BC)
Impression from a seal (right) and a bronze stauette of a kneeling king made in dynasty 23(?). In the belt king Sened's name is in-cised within a cartouche. If this is a sculpture of this (to us) insignifi-cant king himself, it was made almost 2.000 years after his death.
