The K1 monument in a distance seen from mastaba K2 built 250 metres to north-west likely during pharaoh Djoser’s elder brother king Sanahkt. Some bones and a skull were found in the grave chamber here and if compared with the ones from K1 (if they still exist) a DNA test might answer if the owners were related and if so - how close they were kin. A thrilling thought for the future.
