The Tomb of a Long-lived Pharaoh
The inner core walls remain of Pepy II's pyramid today and nothing of the casing is left. It was built in a "standard" size for the period, with a base side of 79 metres and a height of 53. The Mortuary Shrine and courtyard are built connected to the monument and half a dozen smaller pyramids for his queens and others were placed around it.
