18 kings are known by name (above) from this dusky period. In total Manetho (Africanus) gives dynasty seven 70 pharaohs and the eighth 27, while Eusebius states 5 kings each. Very few remains are left from this period with an exeption for a pyramid in dynasty 8. Dynasties 7- 8 main text
