Tombs of the Antefs and Mentuhotep
The necropolis of dynasty 11 at Northern Thebes. The three Antefs made their saff-tombs (green) in the hillside facing the Nile. Mentuhotep built his great new de-signed mortuary temple (red) at Deir el Bahari where Queen Hatshepsut from the 18th dynasty would create her monument right beside a good 500 years later (blue).
