Antef II was the second king of dynasty 11t and a younger brother of pha- raoh Antef I.
Considering Antef's long reign of almost half a century, he had to deal politically with several other kings from the north where the change of ru- lers was wift and con- stant.
On a stela from his tomb (right) he is seen offering.
His cartouche to the left makes his name Antef where the duck/solardisc atop says: "Son of Re".
